If you are using WAMP, you may notice that your phpMyadmin allows you to import only 2MB file size.Some times you have to import a sql file in your local databse more than 2MB. But you receive a error message similar this
“No data was received to import. Either no file name was submitted, or the file size exceeded the maximum size permitted by your PHP configuration. See FAQ 1.16.”
For this problem you can split the whole file in several part less than 2MB and upload them seperately. But it is time consuming and annoying ! Now what can you do? Dont worry !!!!
There is a easy solution. This is very simple. To increase this limit you will have to change the php.ini file which can be located in C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.8\bin\php.ini if you are using WAMP. Try to do following steps:
post_max_size = 8M
upload_max_filesize = 2M
max_execution_time = 30
max_input_time = 60
memory_limit = 8M
post_max_size = 750M
upload_max_filesize = 750M
max_execution_time = 5000
max_input_time = 5000
memory_limit = 1000M
Restart the WAMP server or restart it’s services and you are all set-up and dance with rockz.
